Jr Braves Need Your Help Filling Volunteer & Paid Positions

Community is the foundation our Saanich Jr B Hockey organization is built on, it’s a part of our DNA. Each year we do our best to give back to the community that supports us in every way possible: hosting charity events, bagging groceries at Christmas time, and of course lending our time to encourage the development of minor hockey.

Each year we depend on a team of dedicated volunteers from around the community, and as we begin to prepare for the upcoming 2016/17 season we’re asking for your help to fill some very important positions within our organization.

We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

 

Volunteer Positions

Equipment Manager:

*Skate sharpening experience

*basic knowledge of tools and hardware

*experience around hockey equipment

*organized

*experience in a hockey environment

 

Score Clock Operator:

* start and stop the game

* fast learner on the equipment or know the equipment

* available for all home games

 

Score Sheet Manager:

* legible writing a must

* knowledge of hockey

* available all home games

 

 

Game Day Security:

*punctual

*works well with others

 

Concession Manager (Paid):

* Food Safe

* Organized

* Experience in the food service

* Cash Experience

* Required to Open and Close Concession

* Inventory Management

* Available weekends

 

Concession worker (Paid):

* Food service experience

* cash experience

* fast learner

* available weekends

 

Beer Gardens Server (Paid):

* Serving it Right

* Must be 19 or older

* Cash Experience
