6th Annual Anneswer to Cancer another success

On Saturday May 7, 2015 at Finlayson turf, the 6th Annual Anneswer To Cancer event took place to raise funds for Victoria Hospice! Friends, families and local soccer enthusiast came together to help support end-of-life care in our community.

We kicked off the day with a mini’s tournament along with the Superheroes of Victoria, followed by the main family soccer tournament running from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, where teams competed in fun games and contests to raise funds and win prizes. Prior to the event participants were encouraged to raise funds by collecting pledges online or going door-to-door in their community.

The Saanich Braves are a proud supporter of Anneswer to Cancer and would like to thank all the supporters and participants that made this year’s event such a remarkable success!
