After falling behind 1-0 in a hard fought first period, momentum shifted in favour of the Generals in the second. Three goals in a few short minutes put the Braves well behind. Frustrations ensued with fights from Kovesdi, Heathcote and Valentine.

Two more goals in the third from the Generals sealed tonight’s game 6-0.

When asked about his teams confidence and togetherness Head Coach Brad Cook had this to say: “There is a lot of frustration. Sometimes frustration doesn’t always bring out the best in you. I think the more and more we go down this road we are in right now, the confidence becomes more and more of an issue. We had some outstanding chances but hats off to their goaltender, he played quite well, but we also didn’t expose the quality chances that we had. You gotta take advantage of your chances. We gotta get better and be more focused at the task at hand. At the end of the day the lack of confidence and focus is an excuse and we need to get rid of it and be ready to play.”
